Charisma Carpenter

Charisma Carpenter was born July 23 in 1970. She was Cordelia Chase in the supernatural drama series Buffy the Vampire Slayer (1997-1999) and its spin-off series Angel (1999-2004). She also appeared in Charmed (2004) and Kendall Casablanca's character in Veronica Mars (2006). Rebecca Sewell was in The Lying Game (2012)-2013. Lacy was the main character in The Expendables film franchise (2010)-2012. Carpenter was born in Las Vegas, Nevada,[disputed - discuss] the daughter of Christine who was a bird sanctuary worker, and Don Carpenter, a salesman. Carpenter has Spanish, French, and German descent (from her maternal grandfather). Carpenter was a student at Bishop Gorman High school located in Las Vegas. She was also a part of a singing and dance troupe that performed in the Las Vegas Valley. Carpenter moved with her family to Rosario Beach in Baja California, Mexico, at age 15 years old. She attended Bonita Vista High School and Chula Vista School of the Creative and Performing Arts. Carpenter embarked on a journey to Europe after graduating. Carpenter returned to San Diego in 1991 and worked as an aerobics teacher as well as a videostore clerk and property manager. In 1991, she was employed as cheerleader for the San Diego Chargers football team. She relocated to Los Angeles in 1992. In 1991, Henry Hubbard Jr. was a tyrant who attacked her and two of her male buddies as they were swimming in San Diego. He was an ex- San Diego cop and serial rapist who attempted to subdue them by threatening them with a firearm. During the struggle the two friends as well as Hubbard were shot, forcing him to flee the scene; both friends were able to escape the assault. Hubbard was arrested, convicted, and sentenced to 56 years of prison for a string of robberies and rapes. Carpenter had brought Hubbard his flashlight from the police station to the beach. Hubbard had left it at the scene. This flashlight became an important evidence piece against Hubbard.
